For those that think they are one with the Force, the chance to prove their power is now available. With a total of
2,500 questions to test their knowledge of the Star Wars universe, “Obsessed with Star Wars” will challenge, stump
and delight even the most passionate and knowledgeable fans of Star Wars. This is more than a simple trivia book; it
is also an interactive game with a built-in scoring module. The unique design of the book includes an electronic
panel in the book that allows readers to track their score in random mode or on specific questions. With “Obsessed
with Star Wars,” players can dominate their galaxy whether they are new to the series or old veterans. This book is a
lot different than other trivia books. On every page of the book there is a wide range of questions from the blatantly
obvious to the more obscure to the all out impossible.
The scoring module that comes with the book is a small, plastic computer tells players whether or not players
answered the question correctly, saving readers the trouble of flipping to the back of the book or turning the book
upside down or sideways in order to find out the correct answer to the question. The module can also give players a
random question numbers so that they can get a different kind of question from a different section every time and it
keeps score for the reader as well.
Author Benjamin Harper has really search long and far in the Star Wars universe for the kind of trivia questions that
will leave even the most seasoned Star Wars fan stumped and entertained as they work through the thousands of
questions about a galaxy far, far away. At the same time there are enough regular movie questions that causal fans
will be able to enjoy the fun that the book has to offer. This is a great way for a group of fans of the films to have a
good time and see just how obsessed they are with Star Wars and the universe it takes place in.
The fact that “Obsessed with Star Wars” is one part simple electronic device and one part traditional trivia book is a
great combination, much like the combination of Han Solo and Chewbacca. The scoring module only gives players
the question number, not the actual question that needs to be answered, so players using the random question
mode of the book much constantly flip through the book to find the right question. The problem with the way that this
book works is the fact that if something were to happen to the scoring module, the answers tot eh question are not
printed in the book, so all the answers are lost. The use of the module is more entertaining than a traditional trivia
book would be, but the book has a lower price than a completely electronic version might. However, while the book is
filled with fantastic questions, it only covers to timeframe of the six movies, and ignores everything else related to the
Star Wars universe.
