Once the weather starts to get crisp and there is a bit of a chill in the air, the leaves change color and it is start to
take out the remote control and warm up the recliner for another exciting season of football.  This season football
fans will be able to run an audible to their typical football watching playbook with a funny, fascinating and very
functional new book that looks into the football watching culture.  This new book, “The Armchair Quarterback
Playbook: The Ultimate Guide to Watching Football,” is written by a person who has obviously read their fair share of
books about football and has also spent a lot of time watching football as well.  This has to be one of the first books
of its kind, written about how to properly watch the sport of football rather than how to play it.  This makes sense to
release of a book of this type because there are over 20 million Armchair Quarterbacks in the country.

The author of the book spoke to many veteran Armchair Quarterbacks around the country and learned amazing
plays, etiquette and the language.  The author also took all of this new and important information and packaged it
into a single playbook that is as important to Armchair Quarterback as their remote control and a cool beverage.  The
book covers a wide range of feature plays and information that any real Armchair Quarterback needs to know,
including how to buy a recliner, tips on electronics, how to get the significant other into football, food recipes, wing
eating techniques, smack talk and how to choreograph a touchdown dance.  Though some of this may not sound
very important, any Armchair Quarterback needs to know all of this in order to get the most of out any football game.

“The Armchair Quarterback Playbook” also aims to address the many misleading notions of the Armchair
Quarterback like they are very lazy and don’t move much, which isn’t true at all, there is a lot of activity needed to go
to the kitchen for beer retrieval, finger dexterity for channel flipping speed between games, chest jumps, high fives,
yelling, screaming, touchdown dances and reclining, all of which take a lot of energy.

So how do fans of football know if they are official Armchair Quarterbacks?  The signs can range from choosing to sit
inside and watch the game instead of going outside on some of the last warm days for months to believing that the
pilgrims and Indians had a great idea for creating a day dedicated to football.  Also, real Armchair Quarterbacks will
make their boss at work believe that they are working at crunching the numbers when they are really looking at their
statistics for their fantasy football team.

“The Armchair Quarterback Playbook” is a must have for any diehard fan of football or for the diehard football fan in
training.  It is a humorous look into the world of football, while giving a lot of information that proves to be useful to
any football family.  It is definitely one playbook that every football fan needs to study.
