All gamers are fans of getting a deal when it comes to buying games and the Xbox 360 has seen its share of great packaged deals
when it comes to add-on packs for popular games, whether it is double expansion packs for “Fallout 3” or “The Elder Scrolls IV:
Oblivion.”  However, all of these available package deals are nothing compared to Rockstar’s latest release of “Grand Theft Auto: Tales
from Liberty City,” a package deal that will make any fan of the series happy that they bought an Xbox 360 and the original game.

“Grand Theft Auto: Tales from Liberty City” includes both “Grand Theft Auto: The Lost and Damned” and “the Ballad of Gay Tony” in a
single disc that features two very different stories that intertwine with the original story of Niko Bellic from “Grand Theft Auto IV.”  One
thing that is nice about this new packaged bundle is the fact that players don’t even have to own a copy of the original game in order to
play these two new episodes.  Players are able to put in the new disc in their Xbox 360 and play both games off the one disc.  This
alone makes “Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City” a great deal for those who no longer own a copy of “Grand Theft Auto IV.”

As stated before, both episodes feature two unique stories that are intertwined with that of Niko Bellic.  After being released first as a
download only game a couple of months ago,  “The Lost and Damned” tells the story of Johnny Klebitz, second-in-command of The
Lost Motorcycle Club who suddenly finds himself questioning the dealings of the club’s President who was recently released from
prison.  Johnny begins a quest to save The Lost from a man who might end up destroying the motorcycle gang.

In true fashion to the Grand Theft Auto franchise, Johnny is free to take on a number of missions or spend his time riding through Liberty
City on his motorcycle causing as much mayhem with his brothers.  He can even hang out at The Lost headquarters or participate in
numerous side missions.  Since the game pushes the motorcycle gang aspect in the game, players are even able to call on fellow club
members to provide back when it is needed.

“The Lost and Damned” fixed a few of the issues that appeared in “Grand Theft Auto IV,” specifically better checkpoints during missions
so if players get killed or fail to complete the objectives they can replay from the checkpoint through their cell phone.  There are even
hidden extras in the game, new weapons, new songs on the radio and more vehicles that include various motorcycles.

Moving on, while it is a lot of fun to blast through Liberty City with a gang, “Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony” makes for one of
the best Grand Theft Auto experiences in Liberty City, apart from the original game.  In this episode players take on the role of Luis
Lopez, a Dominican tough guy who works for the flamboyant Tony Prince, also known as Gay Tony, who owns the most popular straight
and gay nightclub in Liberty City.  Like Niko Bellic, Luis is a likeable character with an eye on business and nothing else, so there isn’t a
quiet moment for him, as a variety of characters try to get in the way of his dreams.  He’s also the type of guy who takes car of business
whether it is tending to the nightclubs or lending some muscle for Gay Tony who manages to get both of them in trouble quite often.

Through adding even more weapons to the arsenal on top of the new weapons introduced in “Grand Theft Auto: The Lost and
Damned,” Gay Tony also brings more of all the things players liked about “Grand Theft Auto IV,” as well as the little touches of hanging
out with friends and participating in more activities such as dancing, drinking and flying helicopters.  It is hard to deny that the missions
are a lot more fun in this episode.

While both the games are quite lengthy and add more interesting thing to do in Liberty City, it is Gay Tony that sells this package.  This
doesn’t mean that players won’t have a good time riding around on motorcycles with The Lost, but Gay Tony offers a lot more to the
series.  Of course, neither of the games will change the way that players look at Liberty City.  The city is still very much the same with all
of the familiar spots that players have gotten to know through hours of game play in “Grand Theft Auto IV.”  There are a few new places
that have opened up to accommodate the two new stories, but it is still the same city as before.  However, it is definitely time for the
series to move on to a new location for the next game in the series.

“Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty city” is undoubtedly one of the best deals player can get on the Xbox 360 when it comes to add-
on packs and one of the best reasons to still want to hang out in Liberty City.  With a price tag of only $40, fans of the Grand Theft Auto
franchise will not be disappointed by the two complete games that don’t require a download that takes up hard drive space or the core
game to play.  So for anyone that is looking to extend their time in Liberty City with a few new characters and a lot more missions and
activities, this is a must have set.
