In a world that puts out new movies every week, it can sometimes be difficult to see them all, and it is even harder to remember
everything that happened in each film.  This become especially frustrating when a sequel movie is being released and it is
series or just want to have a fun way of quickly watching all of the highlights in major motion pictures, 30-Second Bunnies
Theatre makes this task a lot easier to handle.  To make things even easier and more accessible, fans of the quick bunny flicks
are now able to get the complete series of films to this point in a convenient DVD package with “Presenting the Collected
Works (So Far) of 30-Second Bunnies Theatre: Movies in 30 Seconds Re-Enacted by Bunnies.”

30-Second Bunnies Theatre is a Webby Award winning Flash cartoon series by Angry Alien Productions that features
anthropomorphic bunnies that re-enact popular films in 30 seconds.  The series debuted in 2004 when Jennifer Shiman, created
the bunny version of The Exorcist.  The Flash cartoon was a hit, prompting Shiman to create more of the 30 second bunny films.

Shiman and her cast of bunnies hit the big time when, in 2005, she was commissioned by Starz! to create more new shorts.
Each of the re-enactments commissioned by Starz premiered on Starz Ticket and Starz on Demand before making their way
onto Shiman’s website.  The series covered a large variety of films, from classics such as “Star Wars” and the 1941 version of
“The Wolf Man,” to more contemporary films like “Borat! Cultural Learning of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of
Kazakhstan” and the Harry Potter films.

In October 2009, Angry Alien Productions took all of the shorts that had been created up until that point and released the DVD,
“Presenting the Collected Works (So Far) of 30-Second Bunnies Theatre: Movies in 30 Seconds Re-Enacted by Bunnies.”
However, this isn’t the first time that Shiman’s creation made its way onto DVD.  In 2005, the 4-Disc Special Collector’s Edition
DVD of “Titanic” was released, which included the 30-Second Bunnies Theatre remake of the film as well.

Shiman has proven that her animated series isn’t simply a cult following, but instead an Internet sensation.  In 2008, the site
won two Webby Awards for Online Film and Video/Animation, along with the People’s Voice Award in that same category.
Along with the winning of awards, there is proof of a fluffy following by looking at the list of films that are requested for
bunnification at the Angry Alien website.  The list contains hundreds of films that viewers have sent in to have Shiman do her
magic.

“Presenting the Collected Works (So Far) of 30-Second Bunnies Theatre: Movies in 30 Seconds Re-Enacted by Bunnies,”
contains 62 film re-enactments, from “30 Days of Night” to “War of the Worlds” and everything in between.  Everyone is sure to
find something in this set that will leave them rolling on the floor with laughter.  Viewers will also get access to many special
features that cannot be found anywhere else.  There will be able to look through a Bunny Image Gallery, which features still
pictures of films that haven’t had the chance to be re-enacted yet.  There is also an interview with the 30-Second Bunnies
Theatre Spokesbunny and Hare-Raising Halloween Promos.

One of the best special features on the disc is the audition tapes for other characters that tried to be the face of the 30-Second
Theatre.  Though they are short, they are quite funny.  Viewers are able to see a total of five different auditions from a variety of
different woodland creatures trying out for the now famous role.

For those that feel inspired by watching the work by Shiman, there is also a Behind the Bunnies Mini-Documentary: How to
Make Cartoons with Shiman.  The mini-documentary takes viewers quickly through the process of how to create a cartoon
similar to 30-Second Bunny Theatre.  Though it doesn’t take viewers by the hand through the entire process, it does offer so
ideas and helpful hints on how to make the process work better.  Anyone currently working on an animated show or wanting to
start working on an animated show will definitely want to check out this feature.

Overall, this is a great collection of what Shiman has created to date for her 30-Second Bunnies Theatre series.  Anyone that
considers themselves to be a film buff will definitely want to check out this DVD and see how Shiman created short re-
enactments of some of their favorite films.  For those that aren’t film buffs, this is still a great DVD to watch, especially for those
looking to get the highlights of a film that friends have been talking about, but they don’t want to spend two to three hours to sit
down and watch the entire film.  Also, what can be more fun than watching thirty second recaps of some of the best films of all
time?  Watching thirty second recaps of some of the best films of all times with bunnies acting them out.
